UPCOMING EVENTS AND LATEST EVENTS OF THE DEPARTMENT HERE

About the department

Robotics & automation engineering is considered a high-end professional career with good scope both in India and abroad. There are tremendous job opportunities for the candidate who has professional training in robotics & automation engineering.Robotic technology may be at its nascence in India, but there is no doubt that India is a growing market for technology and innovation with a successful atmosphere for development of automation. An industry expert says Robotics and Automation can revolutionize the industrial scenario and change the way various functions are performed across industries.Robots are those machines which are able to execute the duties that humans are either unable or prefer not to complete. Some robots are manufactured to do jobs which are hazardous to people like exploring mines, defusing bombs, etc. With the advancement of computer science and related research technologies, robotics jobs are gaining more popularity. Use of robots is expected to increase in the near future, from production line robots to experimental robotics for the medical, military, and automotive industries, the future of robotics engineering will certainly offer a range of opportunities in the following areas for professionals entering the field.
A) Aerospace industry Flying robots, the clever bard robotic seagull, and the Raven surveillance drone are all included in this category of robots. This field is in high demand. In the aviation industry, the Future Scope of Robotics is in high demand.
B) Healthcare Sector The use of robots in the medical field is still in its early stages. There is a fantastic future for increasing the number of robots used in clinical settings to conduct hard and long important jobs, as well as for healthcare system.
C) Manufacturing Sector Such types of industrial robots are made up of manipulator limbs that can do any continuous operation. They can readily work with human employees.
D) Disaster response Autonomous robots are employed to hunt for survivors in a disaster, and they can also track earthquakes, tsunamis, and nuclear power plants. The Emerging Scope of Robotics is brighter in this Technology Field.
